i've never seen the likes of this:

Online Users: 1216

this is just a couple minutes ago. I guess we're making up for the long weekend (in Canada) eh?

But I am curious, is this a high number for TB?

Mark

According to the forums' home page:

"Most users ever online was 2,757, 07-16-2009 at 01:56 PM."

There were 1300 users here about one minute ago.

I think the large number of users just shows what a great and attractive site TB is. (OK, it's addictive, too.) You've got bassists from all over the world on here, from the youngest neophytes to people who've played for half a century, from bedroom players to pros who have toured the world multiple times. And the atmosphere here is more constructive and positive than at any other sizable board I've been on. There's a bonding aspect, too. Friendships are formed, often through GTGs. TB is a very cool place.
