Adam Clayton hollowbody bass on "Get on your boots" video

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi folks!
Anyone knows what hollowbody bass is "playing" Adam Clayton on the U2 video "Get on your boots"?:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZ7zKeYhU_8
Looks like could be a classic sunburst Gibson EB-2, a DeArmond or a Guild... not really sure. Looks gorgeous!
Thanks in advance.

Thanks a lot Stickk, no idea at all.
Quite close in terms of sound to a EB-2, isn't true?

The Rivoli is basically the same thing as the EB-2.

Thanks guys.
I had a '67 EB-2 some time ago, I remember it as one of the best looking... and unusable bass ever done, so my GAS is under control with the Rivoli too.

Now that we solved that mystery...
Does anybody know what he's using for effects on this one? Sounds like a fuzz and either wah or flange to me.

Really? That's a good sound, much better than I would have predicted.

I once saw one advertised in the back pages of Melody Maker in the 1970's by a store called "Ripoff Music":

S/H Epiphone Ravioli Bass - Justa likea mamma usedta make. £90.00
