Adam Clayton playing a fretless ??

The following web site lists some of Adam Clayton's basses, and one of them is a fretless. Has anyone ever seen Adam play a fretless?

I think (and can be corrected on this) he was playing a fretless acoustic bass on the video of "Night and Day" but other than that, no...... would look weird Adam playing one (not that looks are anything!)

Just mulling over this - there's one U2 somg that comes to mind - "Some Days Are Better Than Others" which I think is from the Zooropa album. The bassline has a very fretless sound off it. I'm not sure if it's an actual fretless or just an effect put through a fretted bass. (incidentally, the lyrics to this song, in my opinion, aren't one of Bono's finest writing moments!!)

I think "The Sweetest Thing" was recorded with a fretless. I'm not sure though...

I agree about "The Sweetest Thing" (the remake with that terrible boy band at least), all the slides sound very fretless-ish.
