Hello Fellow Talk Bassers,
I have held off posting this thread as I had not talked to Adrian Garcia about his wishes. However, I talked to him about an hour ago and he asked me to inform the forum that he is in the hospital.
Adrian was diagnosed Tuesday 11 October with Colon Cancer. The doctors found a tumor blocking 3/4 of his colon. Adrian will undergo surgery Thursday 20 October 2005 to remove the tumor. With any luck and blessings they will get it all. And Adrian will be fine.
Adrain asked that I inform people as he has not be able to return phone calls or email. He also ask that people support him in this endeavor as they have his gigging (cheer him on folks. My brother has to beat this thing). And, as Adrian is a devout christian, he asks for all the prayers this community can muster to help him beat this thing.
Given the circumstance, Adrian is in good spirit and is taking this thing head on.
I will be in contact with Adrian daily. If there is any news to report (that he request) I will post it here.

I thought this was going to be "props to the man" type stuff!!! He was the first person here on TB that kinda left me star struck when I joined... I'd actually seen him live on TV a couple times and not known who he was till rooting through his personal site.
