After hoping & dreaming for 25 years finally get to see Level 42

Never thought this day would come. I've been a huge fan for many years and I have tickets to go see Level 42. They're playing some US dates after not touring here for probably 20+ years (think it's been that long I could be wrong). Thought about going to the LA show but cash is really tight right now. However I saw they're playing a Vegas date August 1 and SRO tix are only $27. Whipped out the credit card and me & a friend are going. Early b-day present to myself. Can't wait to see Mark King in person after all this time.

Very cool! Mark King is certainly underrated, I didn't even realize how great he was until I saw them perform on Saturday Night Live. I was shocked at how intricate the bassline to "Something About You" was, and he played AND sang it no less!

I saw them back in the day at Massey Hall in Toronto with the original line up including the Gould brothers. 2 or 3 night stand and I went to all the shows. Enjoy!

I don't think he's underrated. Not overrated either, of course. I think he has always received the credit he deserves as the awesome bassist/singer/composer/band leader he is.

It will be a great show. I've seen them several times over the last years, and also once in the late 80's, always killer shows. Enjoy!

Probably my favourite band ever. I'd love to see them - it's too bad they don't have any Canadian dates.
