Those rotisieree units get pretty hot, I would'nt want them anywhere near me if I was playing, unless I was getting chow from them. Too hot on the stage most of the time without having those things around.

I wonder if Geddy has a Frank Perdue endorsement. And I wonder what they do with all the chickens at the end of a gig. Might be a retro revolution with the stagehands...getting paid in chickens! The barter system, just like they used to do it!

I think front-loader washing machines would be cool...that way he can do his and the crew's laundry while performing...

Next tour, Geddy should set up peep show booths with live dancers.

Ryan also sends the trace signal to a Trace Elliot cabinet beneath the stage. “because if I don’t the amp will just blow”
Interesting, thanks for that info. I can see where the confusion lies however it still sounds like he just uses the cab to provide a "dummy" load. The Trace Quatrovalve probably can't operate on infinite impedance (no cabs connected), so it needs to see 4 or 8 ohms. I don’t think it has anything to do with on-stage sound re-enforcement.

The dryers are light but the washers are a b*tch to move!

The chickens are fake, by the way.

And the Paris Hilton rant... oh c'mon, it was just a one-time, off-the-cuff thing Alex did (like all his "rants.") I thought it was hilarious.
