and in the "future acts" section mentioned El Pus

Everyone should request a bass solo from Al

al is, without a doubt, my favorite 9 string player. there's nothing that guy can't do. mind you, i know a lot of 9 stringers, and all of the guys i've heard play kick gallons of butt on it - jean baudin, GBC, of course the mighty bill dickens, garry g, etc - but al is just in a league of his own, imo.

hopefully I'll have something..... hopefully! It's a VW show for A&E not an Al jam so I don't think it will be legal though. May be a couple second "highlight" clips

Oh, yeah!! Watching this now (commercial break at the moment).. Al's seated right behind Vanessa so any front shot and you see Al and the 9 string monster!!

She just got finished doing "Love Is" and you could tell Al was "feelin' it"!!!!

OH MAN!! THAT BENAVENTE 9 SOUNDS SOOO GOOD!!

most tasteful use of an ERB I've ever seen.. I love how he used the high strings to complement the melody and vocals during the first slow part of "love is" ..

btw, I didnt know Al played URB
