I can't remember his name, but I seem to recall him using G&L. Is that correct?
He has some of my favorite metal tone-The bass on "Get Born Again" is some of the heaviest bass I've heard going. I know that's a later song of theirs, but it's fantastic. |

Plays a Warwick Streamer with EMG PJ's through an Ampeg SVT rig.
Mike Starr wasn't bad either...I think he used the same rig but I'm not positive on that one.

I heard the same rumor and the reason I heard was Starr's rampant drug use. He pulled it off live the few times I saw them. |

I thought it was cool at Rock Honors that he played the tribute to Heart with AIC (his current band playing a tribute to the band he'd been in for the last number of years) and then Ozzy closed the show (who Mike played with before Heart). that is a nice resume if you ask me.

This is the same story from both a guy who works at bassnorthwest and the guitarist in my old band in Seattle, who was an acquaintance of Mike Starr's and dated his sister Melinda once. |

When I saw Mike Inez last year play a reunion show with AIC in Seattle he was playing a Warwick and I think an SVT. |
