Is it just me, or is he pretty sloppy during that performance? And is he using a pick? Didn't know he did that-thought it was all 'finger-sticks.'

Sledgehammer was always played with a pick. The Funk Fingers were specifically developed for Big Time, although now uses them for a number of songs. TL uses whatever is best for the song.

Huh, alright. I just thought that he used them more because years ago I saw him with 'Yes,' as Anderson/Wakeman/Bruford and Howe, and he used them for practically everything. Fantastic show.
Nice fellow, too. Bumped into him at the Moses booth at NAMM once, chatted a bit with me. Regular guy. Guess I should have asked about the sticks!
