Alphonso Johnson on "Streetlife" album

I was wondering has anyone revisited this album lately. Johnson is a guest on two or three tracks. His playing on "Rodeo Drive" and "Night Faces" are exceptional IMO. After practicing, I like to play along to cd's ( I'd rank myself slightly above a novice). I've just about worked out the bass lines to the former track while the latter will keep me busy for a while yet. He is/was a great bassist, whom we dont hear much of nowadays.

Alphonso also did a tour with the Crusaders, I have a live album they did in Japan. Alphonso has always been one of my favorites.
