Mike Dirnt and Pete Wentz aren't fingerstyle players though, they use picks. I'm not sure about Pete Mendal, but I thought he used a pick too?

Gah, I was just coming back to this thread to correct that. I totally glossed over the fingerstyle bit in the OP.

I thought the guy from paramore played jazz basses? He does at least in some of the videos
