I personally love the feeling he puts into it. Plus, this is the first Bass solo I have heard in a while that is not some ghastly SnP wank (I am sorry if that offends some of you, I know how much TB loves its wank).
He even posted tabs and a lesson for the video in the description (it is in Spanish, but who doesn't know a bit of that language nowadays?).
EDIT: I decided to record said instrumental and post it for download in-case any of you wish to put it in your mp3 player. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=K66RJPCI

That way your girlfriend's music collection won't make you want to stab a pencil in your ears.
You could half-assedly sing about how you are not getting any over that line, and still have an amazing song. |

The feel seems a bit mechanical, though that's prob just the pressure of gettin it right for the cam. I'm a big believer in ERBs for this kind of thing, it would sound amazing played by Jean Baudin I reckon. |

Anyway I need to go practice : )

So anyway my 2 cents....

Actually, listening to it again, that mutedness is heard throughout the entire song, but it's not as bad as it's in the solo. Plus, it's offset by the singing.
Meh. So I contradict myself. Integrity is for wussies. I like the song. |
