Andrew Gouche recommendations

I hear about Gouche's playing all the time, but don't know of any CD's that he's on. Can someone recommend some good Gospel CD's with Gouche playing.

Also any other good modern Gospel CD's with good bass guitar versus keyboard bass.

Thanks I found a copy on the net and ordered it along with a Fred Hammond CD that is a couple years old. Should be able to some good music and bass grooves from those.

they play modern gospel from 12-6 every Sunday (or at least they used to when I lived in the ATL). They play some GREAT stuff!

I check out The Bobby Jones Gospel show on BET on Sundays. Some good music there too.

Thanks for the link.

Thanks I've been there and not too much info on Gouche the player. I emalled Gouche, but never got a reply. I've talked to a drummer that plays a lot of gospel and he said Gouche plays great, but some Gospel group get upset with him. That Gouche he likes a bright tone when he plays and that doesn't sit well with many wanting the more traditional big round bassy sound.

I got the L.A. Mass Choir Hits CD and Gouche is all over that. Also got a CD by New Direction and good playing on there too. Hoping the Fred Hammand CD I ordered arrives today. I got a Yolanda Adams CD and a Kirk Franklin. I'll have plenty to absorb the groove and pickup some lines from.

Thanks for the link.
