Ive seen him playing his Precision most live , but before that he mainly used a Ric. He's no longer with the band thought if you hadnt heard. I really enjoyed the album though. I thought his playing was really groovin' but I seem to be the only one who thinks that around here. He also used ampeg cabs and heads live.

He also used a Gibson EB-2 semi-acoustic.

It's only me that thinks that their music is a big mess? I think they need a good producer to help them with the sound.

The sloppy vibe is their sound. I think it works pretty well with the vocals. And there is definately some groovy bass playin on that album.

During a jazz gig, it was time to play So What. The keyboard player says, "This one's all about the bass."

The drummer says, "All about the bass? That must be why it's called So What."

My favorite new release in at least two or three years. Bass lines groove, and the guitar tones and snide vocals take me back to Brit stuff I loved in high school - Joe Jackson, Buzzcocks, Boomtown Rats, etc.

I understand the idea under sloppy vibe, but a covers band in my area played "I bet you look good at the dance floor" in a more standard way and sounded terrific I was even dancing to it.
