Ahh yes, but i think the anime was out first before the manga was done? am i correct?

And i do agree the bassline of the intro rocks, i remember even trying to play it on keyboards. When i was was in high school.

Peace,

I sat a few weeks ago and figured out the theme to Trigun, well my own rendition. Excellent show.

Several people have recommended it to me, but I still haven't watched it. So many things to do, so little time.

Or a EB-0 but you NEED a light grey Sovtek Migmuff/Red Army distortion to get it right and those are supper rare [ i got to use one once very cool] if you look through FLCL will will notice this pedal quite a bit Which proves the actual level of coolness of that anime, not only cool basses for which to hit things and people with but cool fuzz boxes to empower them the the stratosphere.................. Now that I think about I actually can't remember just how many times I have watched FLCL

My first was an EB-0. Second was an EB2-C.

No more Gibbies for me, thanx.

Maybe a T-Bird someday.

I would kinda like the EB-6 back but it's long gone too.

Ah, I see. I tried a T-bird, I was quite disappointed.

Yeah, I mean, it played all right, but I just couldn't get the aggressive tone I wanted.

exactly!

I have a Les Paul special, and it has a lot of good things, but I just can't get it to sound the way I want, lol.

What amp are you using? Please remember that Les Pauls were originally made for jazz, i.e. Les Paul.

Same goes with T-birds [no not jazz] a good part of that aggressive sound it a amp thing.

its' funny I bumped into this thread, I've been watching lots of anime stuff lately, and had come to this conclusion: there's a ton of guys playing their *** off in japan! I can't believe the basslines I hear on the openings for some of these animations.

One thing I notice about a lot of things from Japan is they don't halfass stuff.

They take animation seriously, so they get good players to play on the stuff they care about.
