Used to love his stuff to death, but his solos never did it for me.
That tapping section starting round 2:40 sounds quite a bit like Wally Voss' solo on Joey Tafolla's first solo cd.

I've spoken with Billy several times after gigs and at clinics, he's a huge advocate of not reinventing the wheel. He'll take others ideas and make them his own, incorporating it into his solos. Billy is one heck of a nice guy!
