My name is Marta and I'm 20. I'm a bass player from Barcelona (Spain). I started playing the bass in 2010.
| Amazing.
When I was 20, I sure couldn't groove like that.
She's fantastic. |

I certainly felt motivated by that!

I am p-bass/tube amp kind of guy who doesn't normally dig super smooth hi-fi modern bass tone but she really knocks my socks off.

Her performance does leave a lot to be desired though, you should treat the camera like a stage and not spend your time staring at the fretboard. I am sure her looks helped with the 70,000 views too.

| | | | How do some of these youngster's get so good these days? Great feel and groove for someone who's that young.
I'm SO glad I'm at the age and point in my life where I don't get intimidated or jealous about anyone who can blow my doors off anymore, especially with someone like this young lady. I'm always trying to improve but I realized a while back that for as long as I've been playing I'm always going to be of a certain "ilk" and never anything more than that. But I keep trying.
She is very inspirational. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
