I love his ability of course, but I also appreciate his love of music itself. Although he may not think about it, I love the fact that he plays an off the shelf Fender. That alone really rams home the message about the importance of the music, and not the look or the gear. I just wish I had possessed his wisdom twenty-five or thirty years ago.

But, i guess i can take solace in knowing that i'll always thoroughly enjoy gospel music, since i'm in complete awe when they (mostly black folk) do 'it' ::so tight:: |

There is something about the players that have just wicked chops but they are always playing to the song. I like the nodding head thing too.  |
