As the kid in the "Disco Sucks!" t-shirt in the 70's, this song was a necessary evil... Over time I came to realize just how quintessential a disco bass part this was, and how the "listen to my bass play" was a great example of how just the groove could totally grab people.

Never knew she was the singer too!

I remember seeing clips of A Taste Of Honey awhile back and being super impressed by two things: How great JMJ looks in a pair of leather pants, and how amazing she is as a player and singer. Oh, yes,......and I thought her actual bass guitar in those clips was really cool looking, too.

She is a definite talent to be reckoned with, that is for sure.

Thanks for posting this clip! It's great to visit it again.

Ha! I always thought she was saying "listen to my bass player". I had no clue she was playing too, cool!
