Anthony Jackson with Hiromi Playing NorCal...

Hey all AJ fans...

He is coming to Yoshi's in a couple of weeks with Hiromi. I am a fan of Mr. Jackson's playing. If the calendar and budget work out I am going to check out the show.

Well worth going to see just for Hiromi herself. LOVE her music - she's a cross of Bill Evans and Keith Emerson with chops and inventiveness to burn.

And she's drop dead gorgeous, too.

Oh yeah, AJ is pretty good, too.

She is amazing, I caught her at Clayton State about 6 years ago with Tony and Martin and she was killin' it. Even did a solo ragtime tune in the middle of the show.

It will be great to see AJ live.

same show is happening at NYC's blue note.. dont think i can make it though..

Saw the Yoshi's show on Friday night...she killed, as did Anthony and Simon.

She's my favorite musician these days...

It was a GREAT show!!!! I have to admit that I was more captivated by Hiromi than AJ. She is a MONSTER on those keys!!!!

Really pissed that I missed her this past week in NYC! I should get a 2nd and 3rd chance at the Newport Jazz festival this year, and then the trio heads back to Boston in Oct.
