This guy is seriously unknown. Fronts his own band called Spaced Out from Quebec. The music is somewhat remininscent of Planet X only more bass heavy since Fafard writes most of the music himself. I think it usually gets put into the new "fusion metal" bag only that still might not be the best way to describe the music.

The players do seem quite familiar with jazz level theory and such though so it might actually be appropriate. Like Planet X it sometimes takes the odd metered aspect to an annoying extreme only I can still academically appreciate the difficulty of it.

Anyways this still really doesn't give you a full picture of what the guy can do but gives you general taste of both him and the band.
