Any Idea who played bass on this 2Pac song?

Hi All...

Just listening to some old-but-good CDs the other day...

Anyway, I heard a really nice, "live"-sounding bass line
underneath 2Pac's "Only God Can Judge Me".
Big, crisp tone, and some really nice little frills and fills.

Not the usual sequenced or 808 bass from this era...
any ideas who could have been on the session?

(I've heard that Mike Elizondo (best known for the Fiona Apple gig) did a bunch of studio work for Dr. Dre back in the day...??)

I am pretty sure Elizondo didnt start playing w/ Dre until until the Chronic 2001 era, but I could be wrong.
