So me and my guitar player were hanging out last night talking about some of our favorite bands that are no longer together. I brought up Rufio, who he had never heard of, so I popped in their cd, Perhaps, I suppose.
I havent listened to it in a while but I'm glad I did. Their bassplayer, Jon Berry is amazing! His lines are very busy, very fast, and very intense which is cool to see in a pop-ish punk band.
Anyone else a Rufio/Jon Berry fan? He definately is one kick ass rock bass player. For anyone wanting to give a listen, I'd recommend listening to the song Still, or Road to recovery. The intros are badass. |
