Can anyone tell me what Cisneros's rig consisted of besides the sparkly green Rick and the Green Matamp bass rig? Fuzz?

technical question now: do you use any effects besides the Jericho & Green Matamps to get that warm & fuzzy distortion?
I've always used a Rickenbacker for reasons of sustain and mid tone. I will occasionally couple a Sunn with the Matamps on a split signal for extra high frequencies.

I have no clue about any of his gear, i just figured i comment on how i liked the band!

I too get that same feeling of accomplishment at the end of Dopesmoker. I need to get a hard-copy of that, all I got is d/l onto my computer.
Anyone got some vinyl they're willing to give up?

Here's a link to that thread: Heavy with no guitars

He's running Electric stuff these days.
Dopesmoker and Holy Mountain should be easy to track down on vinyl. They're both still in print.

too bad chris left Om though, I don't think it'll be the same with a new drummer.
has anyone checked out shrinebuilder? it's a new project with Al, Chris (I think) and Wino, should be interesting |

Here's a link to that thread: Heavy with no guitars | I'm fairly certain that was a backline they rented. In fact, I'm positive, because I posted an interview with Al on here where he talks about the gear he's got at home, and none of that stuff is mentioned. But getting 4x15's into Toronto from the Bay Area is undoubtedly very, very expensive. |

I do love Dopesmoker, but Holy Mountain is more fun to digest a lot of the time.
