Too late on my part. He posted on the Meters website that he's in Alabama. I believe every other Meter is safe. Peace.

while at work seeing the evacuation traffic, I had to email George. He told me he got himself with wife and kids to safety. Some of the band is with or near him... others are all safe as well.

Saw the Meters on saturday at the Fillmore in SF and... I can say that are all fine... they played for 4 hours!!! How old are they already?

I would've went, I live not too far from the Fillmore...

But $75???

I couldn't afford to spend that much.
