Anybody have any stories about Billy Cox (Band of Gypsies/Gypsie Sun and Rainbows)?

He's one of my favorite bassists of all time! Just wondering if anyone has any stories or anything like in the Jack Cassidy thread.

I always thought of Billy Cox as a great bassist also. No stories though, but I have the Band of Gypsies DVD. There's some good stuff of him and Hendrix working on tunes.

I'll look for the DVD. It's so sad that he's so under rated though....
