So, bored out of my gourd last night after the Super Bowl I am channel surfing and trip over Esperanza Spalding on Austin City Limits.
WOW!
I need to look into her stuff (her music you perv's) some more. Anyone else a fan?
I tell you what, I have seen some pathetic and lame garbage on ACL, but I have also seen some artists that I never would have been exposed to otherwise. Esperanza is definately one of the latter, I am glad I happened on her portion of the show last night. http://austincitylimits.org/3513-esp...eleine-peyroux
Not on ACl, but still great... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZNw46...eature=related

on a side note: looks like she is playing a Jaco Pastorius Fender Custom shop bass with flats on it |
