I got that CD when I renewed my supporting member status. I think he is a great player, but a composer first, and foremost. I guess he broadly fits in a Mingus sort of mold.

Lackner at Atlanta Bass Gallery

Bernard Lackner did a Bass Clinic at the Atlanta Bass Gallery Today (5/10/08). It was amazing. He played with an awesome keyboard player and drummer. They played a few selections from his CD and other tunes. He answered some questions and was a true gentleman.
