Go see the Fab Four when they come to your town.
I thought I was back in 1964 at a Beatles concert.

What I like best about this band is they don't get caught up in the period costumes and pretending to sound British with cheeky banter. They just play the music very, very well.

They just played in Ann Arbor, MI at the Michigan Theater.
Jaw dropping performance. They take playing very seriously.
Note for note perfection.

They rock! I have seen them a few times. If ever they come to my town and the show hasn't already sold out, I'm there! Everyone in that band is excellent.

I've only ever seen them on Letterman. Got to get out to see them live.

We were supposed to go see them outside Philadelphia two weeks ago. Bought tickets WELL in advance, had great seats, and was really looking forward to it. But our son had a soccer tournament in Baltimore so we didn't get to go. My friend and his girlfriend, who are HUGE Beatles fans and were skeptical about how good a job a "cover band" could do, took our tickets said they were shocked at how accurately they played and sang.

I just got tickets for my wife, our 14 year old son, and I to see them in October. I really hope we get to go to the show this time.

This brings up an interesting dilemma I have with some Beatles tribute bands.

I admit I'm a perfectionist, playing in Beatles bands myself I work hard to play exactly the way Paul did. But as a listener sometimes they can actually be TOO perfect.

What I mean...if they sound EXACTLY like the record, why wouldn't I just listen to the record and hear the real guys doing it?

It's a dilemma to be sure. I want perfection, and then sulk when I get it. Whateva

When they first started this band I saw them 11 times over a two year period...all at small NYC venues..that where always packed. Great band...

the worst of the shows was a White Album show ..they played that number 9 song... one guy shouted out " dont ever play that song again"...

It's interesting thing about perfection. Can someone be too good?
I don't think the Beatles themselves could do a better live performance of these songs.
To do that note for note, nuance to nuance is amazing.
