Anyone go to see Wooten & Oteil@Chi.HOB

I got so mad I missed this show last night.
I was reading the Chicago Reader and saw the advert for HOB
shows and saw the Victor and Oteil w/t Peacemakers were playing.

So how was it?

If you mean Bass,it was Anthony Wellington who's been playing with him for several years.Otiel came out during Vics set and the did a version of "You can't find love"by EWF with Anthony playing Bass as well.

Actually I did'nt know he had another bass player.
I haven't seen his shows aside from the 'Tones, I assumed
he played bass and had a backing band, no?

He's been using a full band since he first went out on his own several years ago.

I'm sure just about every bassist that was'nt playing somewhere that night was probably there.
Oh and your friends with the Buddah huh, thats nice.
I've been giving a lot of thought to what I'm going to for my next ERB and it's most likely going to a Dickens 7 string.
I wanna play more chords you know and I need a challenge.

It was a lot of Bass players in the house and yes me and Bill are friends and have been for a very long time.
