The drummer was great but I wasn't really digging her playing, there were a few seconds where it sounded like she might come to something, but a lot of the time, I wasn't digging it. It picked up a bit at the end though.

Odd, becuase I'm a sucker for the jazzy stuff!

I thought the last half was fantastic. Could say that the first half was "jazz" but it sounded a bit off.

No disrespect meant but I think the black guys in the crowd were digging it more than anyone. I can't remember ever seeing a white girl that could really play (I don't count stoner-metal-band-eye-candy).

Tal is a killer player, her and Marcus were bouncing around NAMM and totally grooving each booth they stopped at. Last year's NAMM, She was seen walking around with Richard Bona. There's definitely a serious buzz about her talent going around.

She's 21 now, not 18, but yes. Lydia is great too. I'm waiting for Tal's solo album.

I liked this one better:

I couldnt watch the video because of that woman (not Tal) on the stage.. was hitting a nerve and I started having twitches.. kind of like the fingers on the chaulkboard thing. Can someone with a higher pain tolerance please give me the timestamps on the "have to see" parts of the song?

Do what I did: open it in a new window and just listen to it, don't watch it.

Overrated. Good player though. Just nothing special IMO accept for the 'hotness' factor.

Is this one of those times where people build her up more from the fact that she's a girl rather than her actually being a really good player? I'm not trying to start anything but I thought the groove was pretty loose. She clealy has a talent and I hope she continues to grow.
