Anyone know who this bass playing kid is?

Sign in to disble this ad
Certainly one of the most talented kids Ive seen or heard and seems to rather enjoy playing. Would enjoy finding out who he is so can look for other recordings or vids of his playing. Maybe has utube vids?

I hope he becomes a succusful musician career wise as a young adult. I find his playing inspiring. Its also great he has a bass thats good enough to let him really learn etc on rather then haveing to struggle with cheapo one of poorer qaulity. He seems to be playing the kind of music he wants to play and how he wants to play it. So diff potential for excellent original music bass player imo.

Is jazz type music so not for everyone. Heres link to the vid of him: http://www.wimp.com/electricbass/

Anyway thanks for any info about him. I do feel its good to know of a few very good kid musicians as inspiration for other young folks and even adults. Is inspiring imo.

the poor sax player in the original clip looks totally dejected sometimes, like "when do I get to play?"

Hes awesome and all and beyond what I hope to achieve, but that ridiculously modern slap tone makes soul die a little. Not my soul, just soul.

He's Brazilian. He appears on Sergio Groove's DVD. Sergio told me he is 13 years old.

That is ridiculous. How can a 13 year old sound that good? And have such great phrasing. Sheesh. I couldn't play like that on all my best days combined. x10
