AKA Zack Smith of 3 Mile Pilot, Pinback, and Systems Officer. Does anyone know how he gets that tone? I know he uses a Alembic, Stanly Clark bass which is a short scale. I use an MTD 550 (long scale) and I have no idea how to get that tone. Closest I have come is by cranking the low mids and bass using EQ and droping the treble a lot. Any ideas? |
