That I play more like Robert Deleo than I thought. I don't hit the octaves as much as he does but my rock style is much like his.

I REALLY like the Army of Anyone album. Some songs sound like they were rehashed STP tunes but with Mr. Patrick singing it's hardly noticable.

Yeah, I really like his playing too.

Their album isn't bad either. FWIW I like AoA a lot more than Velvet Revolver, but that's not saying much.

My favorite thing about his playing is that he's so obviously influenced by James Jamerson and is able to use that style in a rock format. Great player IMO.

Yeah, i'm in the "Learned every song on that album" club. Love the sound of the bass on that album. *Secretly trying to copy style and tone...*

Someone on here once called Robert "the James Jamerson of hard rock" which I think is very fitting. Big sound and melodic, memorable lines. I wish more rock players were like him.
