Has anyone heared this guy? I recently picked up When the Kite String Pops and have to say it's one of the greatest albums i've ever heard. The bass on the album is amazing! Most of the songs have bass intros or fills with only the bass. Audie also had a band called Shrum that had to bassists and no guitarists.

Paegen terrorism tactics is really good too, not sure which one I like best.
You're right on the bass on when the kite strings, Really good. The intro to finger paintings works and sounds really good.
Shrum is a cool band, all bass, no geetars, It sounds pretty good.
Its too bad Audie died, He was really good. |

Never thought about the bass specifically. I'll listen more closely next time.

| | | | I seen Acid Bath play a couple times and hung out with them as well when they toured with DRI. Good people and good music. The lyrics are a little much but the music kills. Also check out Agents Of Oblivion and Deadboy & the Elephantmen.

One of the only comments on my bands youtube vids is someone comparing us to Grief. Quite the compliment.
Edit: And this year I think my favorite show that I saw was Weedeater. And that says alot cause I saw Rwake, High on Fire, Baroness, Eyehategod, Pelican, Boris, etc... |
