Auditioning for a local metal band

Just wanted to know how you guys thought an audition for a LOCAL metal band should go. Should they work with you at all or just give the tabs to some of their music and say "learn it!"??

Any band that gives you tabs to learn their music, if they're not a cover band, and even then, should be avoided.

especially when their tabs are all messed up too right?!?! It sucks cause they've got some really good shows coming up that I wanna be a part of but they just completely refuse to work with any of their auditioners!

If the tabs aren't right, just learn the recording.

Heck, even if the tabs are right, just learn the recording.
