Road worn and battle tested!

And a Ric 3000 (or is that a 3001?)

And the famous group shot featuring the teardrop-modded Precision, the 4080, and his stalwart 4001

Can't wait for the movie premier this week and the summer tour!!!

That one picture is a 3001 not a 3000.

I always wonder if Geddy didnt use a P Bass on the the first album? Overdriven and tube-y sounding, know what I mean?

The first album was the Precision. After that it was the Ric, as far as I know.

You'll need to dig out some CDs for that. I don't even think the Time Machine Tour will bring those babies out! And that P-Bass in the first photo...thats the one to Ged's right in the group photo...

Correct.

So the P bass was used on the debut? Cause hearing it... it REALLY doesn't sound like a P bass. It's so clanky!

And I need to go through my bootlegs of the live shows from 76 and see if I can't discern a 3001...
