For some odd reason, every time i notice a girl playing in a band i really like.. she's always the bass player. On top of that, the majority of the time they are neither A) very good with their instrument or B) very attractive at all (not that it's a necessity but eye candy is always nice).

Anyways, do any of you have a favorite female bassist that you can say is somewhat a doll and happens to raise your eyebrow when it comes to musical talent and taste?

PS I know a lot of you are going to hate me for this post, but I just can't control my curiosity!

I normally would not post to something like this but Paz Lenchantin resembles my wife...so I'm saying Paz has my vote.

She is NOT a bass player, but she is probably one of the best female Banjo pickers ever!

I am so in love with this, Cia Cherryholmes!

Melissa Auf Der Maur is attractive, but bass wise i don't think she's all that.

The original bassist from the Bangles was OK (Michael or Michelle something...) ... no Suzanna Hoffs, to be sure, but still alright. Seemed to be a pretty decent bassist/singer, too and I always liked her tone.

I don't think so. But Suzanna Hoffs with her signature Ric trumps all of them anyway. I don't care if she doesn't play bass, she is smokin hot - IMHO.
