I know alot of us appreciate Geddy. But there are actually quite a few bass playing lead vocalists. Those of us who have tried, (and not quite succeeded), realize how difficult this can be at times. My favorite: Tony Lewis from The Outfield, is a very solid bass player, and incredible vocalist. I really enjoyed their later albums as well as "play deep." Let us in on some of your favorite singing bassists.... |

Tom Araya (Slayer)...

They were my first band I appreciated as a (pre)teen discovering music. No boy groups for me, no. You all can't tell me that "Broken Wings" doesn't have a memorable bass part, and the man's voice is great. Good range, and he uses it well.
