The bassist from Cheap Suits

Holy crap. This bassist is awesome. He may be not extremely talented, i don't know, or care, but he plays some of the coolest basslines and has an awesome tone. Most of the songs are ska/reggae, others punk.

Go there and listen. Another Song About Girls has to be my favorite song I've ever heard, with the coolest bassline I've ever heard.

I play in a very similar band... and well we are definetly not doing something right. I wish we could sound like that.

Man I am definetly going to try using a pick now. Maybe this will solve my problem of being able to cut through in the mix.
