I've seen plenty people that because of thier talent level they just overplay and take away from what in my opinion the role of the bass player is. I'm sure through some of thier albums Paul or a hired gun has played instead of Gene just to keep the "brand" alive, but I think alot of the songs Gene has played on are very cool bass lines. Kinda reminded me of Paul Mcartney lines at times. Anyway, nice pics
