I know this guy isn't as popular as Victor Wooten or Marcus Miller but he sure gets my vote. I think Reggie Young is one of the most versatile bassist out there today. Marcus Miller is sick of-course too. Lol.

I am so glad someone mentioned him. He is one of many bassists that has influenced my playing. His sick sense of melody and his diminished flavored runs are out of this world.
