I'll start:

Marcus Miller
Nathan East

To me these two gents are the epitome of "first call" studio/stage bassists.

Duck Dunn...watched "Blues Brothers" last night and loved seeing Duck smoke his pipe the whole time. Crazy good grooves and bass you can hear on the movie!

#1 is James Jamerson. I could listen to his grooves all day. The guy just comes up with some crazy, funky parts that it wouldn't occur to me to play on the same songs.

Pino Palladino. Everything he plays is tasty

Tony Levin. So creative, amazing, unusual parts.

Love Duck Dunn would like to hear more of his stuff.

Always room for Christian McBride

Jaco! I want to hear more and more of his Joni Mitchell and other non Solo or Weather Report stuff

Best for last, Scott Lafaro Such a great genius. I can only imagine what he would have done if he had at least lived to 30!

Really? You need to hear more straight eighth notes over pop songs? You could have named any one of 100 different pop-band bass players over the last 30 years. At least you didn't say Pete Wentz

I still have a few things to say about McCartney.

I'd like to hear more about Klaus Voorman.
