Beatle Tracks Solo'ed

Sign in to disble this ad
I remember years ago listening to some tracks solo'ed with a teacher and hearing all the mistakes and finger chesse ect, and they listening to them in the context of the complete song and how they just disappear.

For Church we are talking about unity, does anyone know how or where I can find some good examples of those tracks.

A decent amount of them can be panned left or right, not quite soloed...but it's pretty cool.

Search YouTube for

A Day in the Life isolated
I Want You (She's So Heavy) isolated
While My Guitar Gently Weeps isolated
Good Morning Good Morning isolated

McCartney's studio work in these examples is not note perfect. There are other note for note covers of these songs (and many more) that are perhaps technically superior. But Macca is emotive and plays with feeling and intensity and originality and it works perfectly in the mix and in the context of that band's music.
