it's been awhile since I have been on here. I updated my computer and still haven't updated my favorite box yet and all...
My gear has grown even bigger...first of all I got bass number nine. Couldn't pass it up, paid like $60 for it. It's a Squier J bass, but black with white pickguard. I want to make it into a Geddy Lee bass one day...but it's a fretless one, someone did a GOOD job taking the frets off and smoothing out the fretboard.
here are my updated pics...

thank you! Glad to be back. I am not around as much, but still like to pop my head in and see what's up!
JimmyM: thank you! That one is my Fender '57 reissue I got from my boyfriend as a birthday gift. It was his bass he played and was going to sell it to this dude when he got another bass, and I about cried. It was special to me cause that was the bass I played on the first time I ever jammed with a band. The deal fell thru with the dude and I ended up with the bass
Stracatto: it's my first fretless, and it is something I am not really used to, but since the lines are on the fretboard, and the dots, it helps a newbie like me. The day I got the bass, my boyfriend took it to his gig, and he and the main bassist for his band played it. The strings are coated black and so smooth too. The bass sounds great too!
