The best bass for 800 or less - help

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi,

Listen I am fairly new to the forum and I need to ask those in the bass community a question. What in your opinion, is the best bass (4 or 5 string - active electronics) for $800.00 or less (new or used)?

I need to get another bass and just need to get some other opinions (other than the sales guys).

Thanks,

A used carvin can be easily found for under $800. Arguably the best bass construction and sound wise for that price range. I bought my Carvin LB75F new and even for that price I am very happy with it.

Dont get the lower models of the stiletto.
the top model is better than most basses i've played that are double the price.

Used Peavey USA (neck-thru) Cirrus.

BTW.... you're new, so no one will get after you for this, I'm sure.... but expect this thread to be moved to the "Basses" forum very soon.....

I think Peavey Cirrus is the best bass for the money, and you can get one for that price.
