Best doubling bassist

Just curious to know who are some great bassist that double on electric and double bass but are only known for one or the other e.g Christian mcbride kills it on both but is only really known for his acoustic playing,
Cheers

Jack Bruce.
He played double bass exclusively on his 1968 album, "Things We Like" (featuring John McLaughlin). He also happened to have written the "Sunshine of Your Love" riff on double bass.

(This is the second time this morning that I've mentioned Jack Bruce while responding to a thread.) :)

My vote is Christian.

My current fav: Christian McBride. His current upright work is classic tinged with his funk roots as in Josh Redman's Coming Home

John Patitucci would get my vote.
