I have been playing 40 years and am still learning. That qualifies as up and coming?

First time I heard/saw her play with J Beck on video I got a knot in my stomach. Hearing my butt get handed to me as a bassist by a gal thirty years my junior was not a pleasant experience.

Then I remembered that there are always young prodigies and that age and treachery will beat youth and enthusiasm more times than not.

I wouldn't call playing with Jeff Beck "up and coming", I would call that "made it"
