Would anybody venture to guess (or even better, post some research) how Tom Drummond gets that killer tone from his bass on the "Good" song?

he's played Spectors for as long as they've been together AFAIK.
Seen them live a few times over the years, always playing spectors.

Hmmm. I had a ReBop-5 Europe - I hated it. My tech had to tighten the truss rod so much in order to straighten the neck out that it snapped and had to be replaced. Plus the "purple" color it was supposed to be was actually more of a red wine. I sold it.

I guess there is no way to get that tone out of a Musicman?

Thanks for your reply!!

I think he was playing a MusicMan bass in the Good video, but I saw them on tour for that record and he was playing a Spector 5. I think you can still find BTE's videos on Yahoo's Launch site.

OK, I'm an idiot! He is playing a Spector 5 in the Good video. He was playing the Stingray in the "In the blood" video. Sorry for the bad info!
