I think it was probably more to due to aesthetic composition more than anything. The photo with him in looks bloody awful.

That said they could have used another picture.

I know we'll get some BS explanation for it, but I would love to know the inside scoop. I know that Wyman and Charlie Watts are close friends, but Keith and Mick.....not so much.

I am planning to change my name to Wailin' Jennings. Just sayin'....

I would suspect Wyman the Stone's attorney feels pretty silly about his cease and desist letter today. Much ado about nothing, IMHO.

As far as editing the picture, that's wrong. I had a former band roll me up into the carpet, and I never did anything to them but DID do a lot of recording with them and all credit was later erased. I left the band (I thought) on good terms. Silly.

Probably still paying him back for that book he wrote. 'A Stone Alone'.
Wasn't too flattering. Even better, he had
packratted all the old contracts and memorabilia, so he had
the backup to prove all the ****** things that were done to
him.

They didn't treat Brian Jones too well either. Note article in
this months Playboy. Wyman documented that as well.

No, it happened for a minute in 1993.

bill's no longer a rolling stone, you know? he's a 73 year old guy with a metal detector now a bit tacky, and a very bad editing job (notice bill's cable hangs in the air). but that's the way it goes.

The bigger problem with that picture is the guitar in Jagger's hands. The picture now just accurately reflects how Bill felt when it was taken; wishing he wasn't there.

Just that good ol boys club of Mick and Keith. They let Ronny Wood in but they seem to scorn their sideman as if their a burden to the band. In their films and videos there's very little footage of the sidemen, only the big three. Bill Wyman has had issues with Mick and Keith for like forever, it figures they wouild treat him like a turd
